Trained as a lawyer, he has over forty years of experience in the combined fields of law, communications, governance, and politics.

After practicing law for nearly a decade, he gradually pivoted his career towards strategic consulting and institutional relations, applying his legal expertise to complex assignments that required sound judgment, detailed analysis, and a deep understanding of political and social dynamics.

His professional background also includes a distinguished political career. Elected to the National Assembly of Quebec, Pierre Bélanger has held several parliamentary and ministerial positions, notably as Minister of Public Safety, where he was tasked with managing major issues directly affecting public safety and the resilience of institutions. He also served as Chair of the Commission des services juridiques  with the rank of Deputy Minister, where he helped shape strategic decisions regarding access to justice and the modernization of public legal services.

Today, he advises public, semipublic, and cultural organizations on issues related to governance, strategic positioning, and reputation management, drawing on his in-depth understanding of decision-making and institutional processes.

His commitment is also reflected in his ongoing involvement in the arts, culture, and community development. He notably serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Château Dufresne Museum and sits on various advisory boards and foundations working in the fields of health and community action.
